雨天的备用计划

Lina and her brother Sam plan to spend their last holiday morning at the beach. When they open the curtains, heavy rain is falling. Sam feels annoyed because he has brought a new beach ball all the way from home.

莉娜和弟弟萨姆计划把假期最后一个上午留给海滩。拉开窗帘时，外面正下着大雨。萨姆很烦，因为他特意从家里带来了一个新沙滩球。

Lina suggests a large shopping center outside town. Sam does not want a long bus ride. They ask the guesthouse owner for another idea. She tells them about a small indoor food market just ten minutes away on foot.

At the market, they share warm soup and watch a baker shape small rolls. Sam asks how long the bread takes to cook. The baker answers slowly and shows him a tray. Lina writes down the name of their favorite soup.

The beach ball stays in Sam's bag, but he buys a paper bag of fresh rolls for the journey home. Their morning is different from the plan, not empty. They leave with a new taste to remember and a story about unexpected rain.
