咖啡店里的换书架

Every Saturday, Mei visits a small cafe near her home. She usually orders tea and reads alone. Last week, she noticed a wooden shelf beside the door. A sign said, "Take a book. Leave a book when you can."

每个星期六，小梅都会去家附近的一间小咖啡店。她通常点茶，一个人读书。上周，她注意到门边有一个木书架。牌子上写着：“取走一本书，方便时留下一本书。”

Mei chose a book about gardens. Inside, someone had left a note: "I read this during a difficult winter. The pictures helped me feel better." There was no name, but the message made the old book feel special.

小梅选了一本讲花园的书。书里有人留下便条：“我在一个难熬的冬天读了它。这些图片让我感觉好一些。”便条没有署名，但这段话让旧书变得特别。

The next Saturday, Mei brought a story she enjoyed. She wrote a short note about her favorite character and placed it on the shelf. She did not expect to meet the next reader or get the same book back.

下一个星期六，小梅带来一本自己喜欢的故事书。她写了张介绍最喜欢的人物的短便条，把书放上架子。她并不期待见到下一位读者，也不期待拿回同一本书。

Now she checks the shelf before ordering. Sometimes she finds nothing interesting. That is fine. For Mei, sharing a small part of her life matters more than finding a free book.

现在，她点单之前会看看书架。有时她找不到感兴趣的书。那也没关系。对小梅而言，分享生活的一小部分，比找到一本免费书更重要。
