一个简单的周末计划
On Sunday morning, Fei visits the city library with his aunt. They want a quiet hour away from their busy week. Fei likes books about plants. His aunt wants a short novel. They do not have to choose the same kind of book to enjoy the visit together.
周日早上，小飞和阿姨去了市图书馆。他们想在忙碌的一周之后安静地待一小时。小飞喜欢植物书，阿姨想读一本短篇小说。两人不必选择同一种书，也能一起享受这次来访。
用一句话问位置
At the desk, Fei asks, 'Where can I find books about local plants?' A librarian shows him a map of the shelves. His aunt asks about a reading area with good light. They find two seats near a window and put their phones away.
在服务台，小飞问：在哪里可以找到介绍本地植物的书？图书管理员给他看了书架分布图。阿姨询问有没有光线好的阅读区。他们在窗边找到两个座位，把手机收了起来。
不急着读完一本
Fei reads one chapter and draws a leaf in his notebook. His aunt reads several pages, then stops to look outside. They are not racing to finish their books. Before leaving, Fei shows her a plant that grows near their home. She knows its Chinese name.
小飞读了一章，在笔记本里画了一片叶子。阿姨读了几页，停下来看看窗外。他们没有比赛谁先读完。离开前，小飞给阿姨看了一种家附近生长的植物。阿姨知道它的中文名字。
借之前先问清楚
Fei wants to take the plant book home. He asks the librarian how to borrow it and when to return it. His aunt writes the date down with him. Next Sunday, they plan to come again. A small, comfortable visit is enough to make them want another one.
小飞想把植物书带回家。他向管理员询问怎样借书、什么时候归还。阿姨和他一起记下日期。他们计划下周日再来。一次短小、舒服的来访，已经足够让他们愿意再来一次。
