先说名词，再用从句缩小范围
the student who sits by the window 指坐在窗边的那个学生。who 常指人，which 常指物；限制性定语从句里 that 也常可代替它们。这里的从句帮助识别说的是谁或什么。
The student who sits near me is friendly.
坐在我附近的那个学生很友善。
The book that you lent me is useful.
你借给我的那本书很有用。
关系词作宾语时有时可省，作主语时要保留
The book that I bought 与 The book I bought 都能成立，因为 I 是从句主语，that 指被买的书。The student who called me 中 who 是打电话的人，不能直接删掉。
The film we watched was interesting.
我们看的电影很有趣。
The teacher who helped us is here.
