Your club can organise a book exchange or a board game evening. Saying “The book exchange is better” gives a choice, but your listener may not understand your reason. Add who it helps and how: “I suggest a book exchange because members can join at different times.”

A reason should support the choice you are discussing. “Books are interesting” tells people what you enjoy, but it does not explain why this event suits members with different schedules. Ask yourself: would my example help someone understand the decision?

You do not need to prove that the other activity is bad. You can finish with, “A game evening could be fun too. I would choose the exchange this month because our members are busy.” This keeps your recommendation clear and connected to the present situation.
