一个建议，为什么不是 an advice？
从求建议和点饮料入手，练习可数名词、a/an 与 the，不再按汉语量词逐字套用。

先把意思说清楚
Lin is planning a short trip. She asks her friend for some advice about packing. Her friend gives her a suggestion: take a small bag. Lin writes the suggestion in her notebook. Now both friends know which suggestion they are discussing.
小林正在安排一次短途旅行。她向朋友询问一些打包建议。朋友给出一个具体建议：带个小包。小林把这个建议写进笔记本。现在两人都知道正在讨论哪一个建议。
中文的‘一个’有不同说法
In this situation, advice is uncountable. Say 'some advice' or 'a piece of advice', rather than 'an advice'. Suggestion is countable, so 'a suggestion' and 'two suggestions' work. The meaning is similar, but the English noun patterns are different.
在这个语境里，advice 不可数。应说 some advice 或 a piece of advice，而不是 an advice。suggestion 可数，因此可以说 a suggestion 和 two suggestions。意思相近，但英语名词的用法不同。
从某一个到刚才那个
At a cafe, Lin buys a sandwich. The sandwich is warm. First, a introduces one sandwich; then the points back to it. If she says 'my sandwich', she does not add a or the before my. The listener already has a clear reference.
在咖啡店，小林买了一份三明治。那份三明治是热的。第一次用 a 引出某一份，接着用 the 指回它。如果说 my sandwich，就不再在 my 前加 a 或 the，听者已经能确定所指。
允许真实场景中的变化
Lin orders two coffees for herself and her friend. Here, two coffees means two cups of coffee. That is normal in a cafe. Do not learn that coffee can never be countable. Check what the noun means in the particular conversation.
小林给自己和朋友点了 two coffees。这里指两杯咖啡，在咖啡店里是正常说法。不要记成 coffee 永远不可数，要看这个名词在具体对话中表示什么。
纠错：an advice → some advice
中文可以说‘一个建议’，但 advice 在这里不可数；也可用 a piece of advice 或 a suggestion。这不是意思错了，而是名词形式需要调整。

冠词不是见名词就加
a/an 用于单数可数名词的非特指用法；the 可指双方能识别的事物。my、this 等限定词前通常不再加 a/the。点单时 two coffees 指两杯，属于可数用法。
I bought a bag. The bag is blue. My bag is light.
我买了一个包。那个包是蓝色的。我的包很轻。
